OBITUARIES
Earl Apgood
Malad - Earl Apgood, 78, of Malad, died Wednesday morning in the Oneida Hospital of a heart ailment.
Mr. Apgood was born June 15, 1884, in Wanship, Utah, a son of William H. and Elizabeth Frazier Apgood. He was married to Dora Blanch Maxwell on Jan. 29, 1905 in Coalville, Utah. They received endowments in the Salt Lake Temple on Dec. 15, 1916.
He came to Malad in 1907 and was a retired farmer. He was an active member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are his widow, three sons and two daughters, Elton H. Apgood, Shelley, Idaho; Elmon E. Apgood, Blackfoot, Idaho; Theoress M. Apgood, Palo Alto, Calif.; Mrs. Gertrude Reed, Mrs. Joe (Ila) Allen, both of Ogden; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three brothers and four sisters, Lorene Apgood, Pomona, Calif.; Marvin Apgood, Idaho Falls; Ervin Apgood, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Edith Wright, Twin Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Leslie (Flora) Murphy, Bluebell, Utah; Mrs. William (Belva) Olsen, Mrs. Earl (Theo) Deveroux, both of Rigby, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Malad First Ward Chapel with Bishop Conrad Alder officiating. Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in Malad City Cemetery.
