She was born Oct. 10, 1922 in Willis, the daughter of Edward E. and Bessie F. Lupold Elliston. A resident of Hutchinson since 1948, she was a legal secretary for 33 years for Wendell S. Holmes, and then worked in the post office at Hutchinson Correctional Facility for six years, retiring in 1998.
She belonged to First Baptist Churchand Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1361 Ladies Auxiliary serving as chaplain and bingo chairperson.
On Aug. 25, 1948 she married Fred L. Bott. They divorced in 1957. On July 20, 1966 she married John F. Hall. They divorced in 1971. Survivors include: a daughter-in-law, Kay Bott, Hutchinson; a sister, LuVerne Paine, Wichita; and a grandson, Luke Bott and his wife, Laura, Wichita.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Gott; a daughter, Cathy Bott and infant twin brothers.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Laura Frazey presiding.
Memorials may be sent to the A.L.S. Foundation or to Hospice of Reno County, both in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
