Alvin C. Beehler
Last rites will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Whippoorwill Community church for Alvin C. BEEHLER, 83, R.R. 4, Rochester, who died at his home Monday at 4:10 p.m.
Dr. S. Herbert BESS will officiate and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the Harrison funeral home in Kewanna until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and at the church an hour prior to the service.
Born Jan. 3, 1884, in Richland township, Mr. Beehler was the son of Charles S. and Barbara Ellen WALTERS BEEHLER. He was married Dec. 25, 1911, to Grace Mae CRUM.
A retired farmer, he formerly lived in South Bend and was employed by the Studebaker corporation.
Surviving ar the wife, one daughter, Mrs. Velma EHRESMAN, Lakeville; a son, Gordon Leonard [BEEHLER], R.R. 2, Kewanna; a brother, Earl [BEEHLER], Logansport; eleven grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters preceded in death.
