MRS. A. M. POOLE DEAD

Sunday morning, when the news spread over the town that Mrs. Annie M. Poole, had died during the night, it cast a shadow of gloom over the town. Mrs. Poole was 78 years old and was one of Douglasville's pioneer citizens. She was a widow of the late Dr. W. H. Poole who practiced his profession here the early days of Douglasville to the time of his death a few years ago.

She is survived by two sons Dr. R. H. Poole of Douglasville, and Dewitt Poole of Newnan; four daughters, Miss Carrie Poole, Mrs. P. E. Baxley, of Douglasville; Mrs. B. F. Pickett of Newnan and Mrs. J. C. Tumlin of Atlanta. 22 grand children and five great grand children also survive her.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. W. H. Clark at the home Monday afternoon and internment in Douglasville cemetery - Six grand sons acting as pall bearers.

A large crowd of friends and acquaintances gathered to pay their last tribute of respect.

The Sentinel extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
