Funeral services for Mrs. C.S. Brewton were conducted by Rev. J.M. Youree of Lewisville, Texas, former pastor here and special friend of the family. The rites were held at the Central Presbyterian Church.
Survivors: husband; three daughters, three sons and seven grand; daughters - Mrs. H.A. Jarvis of Selma, AL; Mrs. Guy Manning of Terrell; Mrs. H.F. Spencer of Brewton; sons - Charles Brewton of Lubbock; Cliff Brewton of San Antonio; Fred Brewton of Stamford.
Mrs. Brewton was born in Mississippi, December 21, 1867. The family moved to Stamford in 1920, coming here from Hamlin.
