"Mrs. Alice Edna Zisemann Busch, 92, widow of the late August A. Busch Sr., died yesterday of coronary thrombosis in her home at Grant's Farm, the Busch estate on Gravois road in Affton.
Mr. Busch's physician said she had been active and in excellent spirits up until her death. She died in her sleep.
Her husband, former president of Anheuser-Busch, Inc., died in 1934. He was the son of Adolphus Busch, co-founder of the brewing firm who died in 1913.
Survivors include a son, August A. Busch Jr., president of Anheuser-Busch, and two daughters, Mrs. Marie Busch Jones of St. Louis and Mrs. Alice Edna Tilton of Cooperstown, N.Y. A son, Adolphus Busch III, died in 1946. A daughter, Mrs. Clara Hazel Busch Orthwein, died in 1957.
Private funeral services for the family will be at 3 P.M. tomorrow at Grant's Farm, with the Rev. Dr. Edgar C. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Burial Park.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Memorial Hospital."
