Funeral services will be held at 2 PM today at Trinity Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Highland memorial Cemetery under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home.

Husband of Erin Joy Greer Blancet - M. 01/05/1949 - She preceded him death on 10/25/1989.
He later married Lois Cockerell on 03/16/1990 at the Stamford VIP Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Erin Joy Greer Blancet; step-son LeeRoy Cockerell; 2 sisters Willa Mae Lindsey & Velma May; and 5 brothers, J.B., Henry, Marvin, Clarence, & Virgil Blancet.
Surviving Mr. Blancet are wife Lois Cockerell; daughter Debbie Curtis of Abilene; son, Rodney 'Smokey' Blancet of Stamford; step-daughter Luann Akin of Abilene; 2 step-sons, Larry Cockerell of The Colony & Phillip Cockerell of Abilene; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great grandchildren; & sister, Ruby Frazier of Palestine.
