Laura was the second wife of Rev. Cicero Lewis Dobbs, they married on September 3, 1878. She and Cicero had two children: Charles Lewis and Cicero C., who both died in infancy. Cicero died on February 21, 1896. She married second on November 20, 1899 to Rev. Robert Abijah Timmons, son of Rev. William and Mary B. Timmons. He died Aptil 8, 1904, she outlived Rev. Timmons by 40 years.
