Of Lanark died in Crestview Manor Nursing Home, Freeport, following an extended illness. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist Savanna. Mrs. Adams was born Feb. 10, 1901 in Fair Haven Township, Carroll County, daughter of John and Leonora (Mader) Rausch.
She was married to Charles F. Adams June 22, 1929, in Chicago. They farmed in the Lanark area until his death Dec. 15, 1959. Mrs. Adams then moved to Lanark.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ralph J.(Oralou) Ruthe of Freeport.
Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Frank Funeral Home here. Mrs. Ralph Eaton of Mount Carroll will be the reader.
Burial will be in Lanark Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for the Cancer fund.
