Mrs. A. A. Davis Dies at Milltown.
Mrs. A. A. Davis, age 56, wife of A. A. Davis, prominent Chambers County citizen of Milltown, died at her home Monday morning. Mrs. Davis had enjoyed unusually good health prior to her attack at 10 o'clock Sunday, but hardly before her friends realized that she was sick ___________, dying at 5 o'clock Monday morning.
Besides her husband Mrs. Davis leaves to mourn her passing three sons, Walter Davis, of Detroit, Mich.; Tommie Love Davis, Plant City, Fla., and Luther Davis, of LaFayette, and three daughters, Miss Abbie Davis, Sanford, Fla.; Mrs. Maggie Sikes, of Okeechobe, Fla., and Miss Ethel Davis, of Shawmut.
The funeral was held at Milltown Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock and were conducted by Dr. J. W. Rucker, pastor of the LaFayette Baptist Church. Interment was in the *LaFayette Cemetery.
*Note: Place of interment is an error as her grave is well marked at Rock Spring.
