Mrs. Darling Dead at 80 Years
Mrs. Edith Caroline Darling, widow of the late Silas S. Darling, of Windsor, died August 18, in Santa Rosa.
A native of Germany, Mrs. Darling was 80 years of age.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruby Mills and Reva Shirley of Windsor, Violet Kershner and Myrtle Worden of Santa Rosa, Marjory Ward of Point Reyes Station and Illabella Prosser of Petaluma; by her sons, M. J. Darling of Woodland and Silas S. Darling Jr., of Bodega Bay and by two brothers and a sister in South Dakota and a sister and two brothers in Germany. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held August 20, at the Welti Chapel of the Roses, Santa Rosa, with the Rev. Gilbert Johnson officiating.
Burial was at Shiloh Cemetery, Windsor.
