H. Magsamen Dies; Services Saturday

TOLONO, Sept. 11 -- (BSC) -- Henry Magsamen, 68, Pesotum farmer, died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at Burnham city hospital in Champaign, where he had been a patient for nine days.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathol ic church in Crittenden township. Father Zwartz will officiate, and burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. The body was to be returned to the family home Thursday evening from the Mott funeral home at Villa Grove.
Mr. Magsamen was born Jan. 26, 1870, at Tuscola, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Magsamen. He was married to Emma Kleiss, who survives with eight children, Julius, Tolono; Joseph, Ivesdale; Sister Emmarita, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Sister M. Joselia, Lafayette, Ind.; and Alfretta, Gilbert, Wilbert and William, all at home.
Three children preceded him in death.
He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Lena Brunaman, in Indiana, and a brother , Charles Magsamen, in Nebraska.
