DELHI (Special) — W. E. Baucam [sic Baucum], 83-year-old retired farmer, died at his home Wednesday morning from a heart attack.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Lamar Baptist Church south of Delhi with the Revs. Pat Loftin, Bill Lovett, and Ralph Frazer officiating.


Burial will be in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Gay's Funeral Home of Delhi.


Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alma Baucam [sic Baucum], Delhi; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Herndon, Laurel, Miss., and Mrs. Sam Blake, Delhi; six sons, Kirven, Elmo and Burnice Baucam [sic Baucum], all of Delhi, Johnny Baucam [sic Baucum], Beaumont, Tex., Hercules Baucam [sic Baucum], Los Angeles, Calif., and Jack Baucam [sic Baucum], New Orleans; one sister, Mrs. Leona Daniels, Albany, La.; and 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.


Serving as pallbearers will be Gene Tharpe, H. P. Tharpe, George Sumlin, Bruce Parker, Jim Bullock, Roy McIntyre, Wess Goodman and Fred Goodman.
