Death of Mr. Lineberger, Of South Caldwell Street

Mr. E. N. (sic) Lineberger, of South Caldwell street, died last night about 11 o'clock after an illness of several months from Bright's disease. The funeral will be conducted this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the house, Rev. Dr. E. L. Bain, pastor of Tryon Street Methodist church, officiation.

Mr. Lineberger is survived by his wife, who was Miss Julia Roddey, of Land's Ford, S. C., and five sons and two daughters. The sons are Messrs. Harmon Lineberger, of Albemarle; Culley Lineberger, of Rock Hill, S. C.; William, Betts and James Lineberger, of Charlotte; the daughters, Mrs. Walter Kyer, of Petersburg, Va., and Mrs. Wade Hampton, of Charlotte.
