Death Came Mon. To Frank Hainline

Death came at 7:05 on Monday evening to Frank Hainline, 83, a life-long and respected resident of our community. For months he had been ailing, and on last Wednesday he fell while walking in his yard and fractured his right hip. Death came as a result of the shock combined with the ills of old age.

The deceased, whose right name was Francis Marion Hainline, was born in Hire township on March 30, 1855, the son of George and Jane Keithley Hainline. He spent a few years of his youth in Missouri but later returned here and on Thanksgiving day, 1879, was married to Susan Charter who preceded him in death.

They established their home on the farm south of town and four children were born to them: Emmett, at home; Mrs. Era Stump and Mrs. Florence Bank, both of Anderson, Indiana, and one son, deceased. Mr. Hainline is also survived by three bothers: Seth, of Edina, Mo., Sherman, of Woodland, Calif., and Ollie, of Macomb.

Many years ago the family moved from the farm to their home in the south part of town. Mrs. Stump was visiting there last week at the time of her father's accident and death.

Funeral services are being held at the Baptist church this Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. Kelly is officiating, and interment will be in the South cemetery.

An inquest was conducted by Coroner Yates at the Roberts Funeral Home on Tuesday evening.
