Nina Vance Sugg Wiley was born in Minden, Louisiana on September 19, 1886, to William Alexander Sugg (b. 1850) and Alice Amarintha Pratt Sugg (b. 1854), the 5th of 6 children. On September In 1902, she married William Benjamin Wiley (a local jeweler) of Magnolia, Arkansas. Three children were born of this union - Nina Sugg Wiley (b. 1904), William Benjamin Wiley, Jr. (b. 1907), and Clarence Douglas Wiley (b. 1909).

Nina (Benna) died in Minden, Louisiana in 1973.
