Donna was born in Oak Harbor Jan. 9, 1935, to John Edward Armstrong and Bertha Irene (Brooks) Armstrong, she was the last of five children.
She was raised in San de Fuca, attended school in Coupeville, and lived in San de Fuca for most of her entire life.
Donna was the first woman on the San de Fuca Volunteer Fire Department.
On Jan. 27, 1950, she married Harold C. Eaton, they had six children, who all survive her.
Preceded in death by her husband Harold, June 25, 1995; her parents; also by two brothers, two sisters and one great-grandson.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, at Sunnyside Cemetery, Rev. Stuart Corey officiating.
