Marlene Fay Meals, of Mexia, passed away Monday, May 18, 2009 at Bluebonnet Hospice Center. Viewing was held 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, at the Cotton Gin Cemetery in Teague.

Marlene was born in Eufaula, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her daughters, Helen June Yost, Mawana Darlene Jones and husband, Charlie, and Tammy Annette Vogt and husband, George Leo; son, Thomas Louis Meals Jr and wife, Amanda Lynn; and grandchildren, John Harris Funderburk Jr, Thomas Hester Funderburk, Christina Fay West, and Jessica Lynn Ebbett.
