Gipson, F.A.: Age 80, Grand Saline, burial Creagleville Cemetery, died April 10, 1998, born Upshur County, graduated from Gilmer High School in 1934, WWII veteran, served in Navy, retired from Postal Service in Dallas in 1972, lived in Grand Saline 37 yrs., helped establish the public library, was considered a local authority on subjects relating to history, served as elder in Grand Saline Bible Church, Sunday School teacher, secretary of the Tyler Daylily Society Survivors: wife of 51 yrs, Anita M. Gipson; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Dale Duke; son and daughter-in-law,Tom and Sharon Gipson; 7 grandchildren;
brother, W.L. "Bill" Gipson.
