Kenneth was born in Warriors Mark, PA Huntington County on June 1, 1944 son of Ralph Eugene Ellenberger and Mable Pauline Kelly. He married Thelma Blanche Sipes on June 7, 1963. Kenneth retired from General Motors of Wilmington, DE Auto Body Dept. He graduated from Tyron High School, Tyron, PA. He enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, and old cars. He also enjoyed the Steelers and Penguins and tinkering in his garage. He was part of a Protestant Church.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Ellenberger; 2 daughters, Lisa Seven of Grove City, PA and Lori Southworth of Slippery Rock, PA; 1 son, Kenneth William Ellenberger, Jr of Grove City, PA; 3 brothers, Robert Ellenberger of Warriors Mark, PA, Eugene Ellenberger of Warriors Mark, PA and Allan Ellenberger of Hollywood, CA; 1 sister, Viola Van Allman of Tyrone, PA; 4 grandchildren, Khrystyne, Monica, Alora and Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held in Ross Cemetery, Warriors Mark, PA, with one hour of visitation from 1 pm until the time of the service at 2 pm Wednesday, May 20. Visitation will be at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, PA, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
