Survivors include Cydney Farnam Krouse, his wife of 34 years; his son, Tad Krouse and wife Stacey of Silverdale, Wash.; his grandchildren, Taylor Diana Krouse and Dyllan Gregory Krouse; his step-son, Bradley Rowe and his sons Alexander, Tucker and Colby Rowe of Yerington, Nev.; step-son, David Rowe of Paso Robles, Calif., and his children Richard Rowe and Chynna Rowe; and sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Bud Simpson, Laurel, Md.
Warren was preceded in death by his wife, Diana; his children, Gregg and Cynthia Krouse; his parents, Walter and Mary Krouse; a sister, Frances; and two brothers, Wallace and William Krouse.
He was raised in Dorris and joined the Army upon high school graduation in 1961. He married his high school sweetheart, Diana Robison of Macdoel, Calif., on Feb. 10, 1962. Warren and Diana lived in Washington, D.C., while he served in the Pentagon. They had three children Tad, Gregg and Cynthia. After the Army, Warren moved his family home to Dorris, where he worked at Dorris Lumber & Moulding Mill until he became a partner in Miracle Builders Corp. of Dorris for numerous years. He then started his own company W.D. Krouse Building. Through the years, he served as the Dorris police commissioner, Dorris mayor, and Dorris Fire Department chief. Warren was raised a Christian and he was a friend and helper to the elderly people of Dorris from the time he was a boy, mowing lawns and helping them any way he could.
