The daughter of Jon and Mary Florip, she was born on June 28, 1893 on Section 12 road in Hagensville.
She was a lifelong resident of Presque Isle County and a life member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Hagensville.
Her marriage to Gustave Bredow took place in Rogers City on October 30, 1930. Mr. Bredow preceded his wife in death in 1971. A son, Erhardt, had died in 1938, and she was also preceded in death by five brothers.
One brother, Arnold Florip of Provincial House, Alpena, survives, as do several nephews and nieces.
Private funeral services were held for Clara Bredow on Wednesday, July 13, at the Gatzke Funeral Home in Rogers City, the Rev. Keith Parker officiation.
Interment was at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hagensville.
