Alice B. Atteberry-Curry, 85, of Peoria passed away Monday, May 15, 2006, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Alice was born Dec. 6, 1920, in Alta, a daughter of Floyd and Hilma Johnson Neff. She married Philip V. Atteberry on April 21, 1945. He preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1970. She married Jesse P. Curry on Feb. 17, 1973. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1989.
She was also preceded in death by one infant granddaughter, Carrie Atteberry, two sisters and three brothers.
Alice is survived by her son, Michael (Patti) Atteberry, Sr.; daughters, Verita "Vicki" (Dave) Reliford, Carol (Tom) Carroll and Sandra (John) Hudson; stepsons, Paul (Donna) Curry, Pete (Nancy) Curry, Jim (Mary) Curry, Mike (Mary) Curry, Tom (Carlene) Curry and Joe (Lynn) Curry; step-daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Pat) Ring, Jeri (Bob) Myers and Faye (Jack) Hill; brothers, Leland (Wanda) Neff, Joe (Hazel) Neff and Donald (Georgiane) Neff.
Alice was a retired school bus monitor for District 150.
Interment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
