DEATH FROM CANCER
Mrs. Lucina H. Magee Died Last Week at Long Island City.
Mrs. Lucina H. Magee of Red Bank died last Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel H. Leasch of Long Island City. Death was caused by a cancer. Mrs. Magee went to her daughter's home several months ago for a visit. The body was brought to Red Bank Thursday morning and the funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the home of her son, Eugene Magee of Waverly place. The burial was in the Presbyterian cemetery at Shrewsbury.
Mrs. Magee was born 54 years ago near Tinton Falls. She lived at Red Bank about ten years. Her husband, Eugene Magee, died about four years ago. Besides Mrs. Leasch and Eugene, Mrs. Magee leaves a son, Fred of Red Bank. She also leaves four sisters, Mrs. Mary E. VanDerveer of Broad street, Mrs. D. Clarence Walling and Miss Cora Shutts of Peters place and Mrs. Aaron A. Armstrong of Shrewsbury and two brothers, Arthur Shutts of Shrewsbury and Daniel Shutts of Asbury Park.
