81-year-old Texas Resident Dies Here
Mrs. Emma Etta McPherson, aged 81, of Borger, Tex, died Wednesday at Wesley hospital.
Born in Montpelier, Ind., May 21, 1870, she had come to Wichita from Borger in August and was a guest at the home of her son, H. R. McPherson, of Cheney, Kan., when she became ill.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roy Lacey, Dumas, Tex., and Mrs. Mabel Smith, Niles, Mich., nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Culbertson mortuary Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Ernest E. Lutz, Jr. pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.
