Son of George Clifton Bloodworth and Bessie Pearl Walker, he was a combat wounded veteran of WWII. He retired from Georgia Highway Express. He was survived by his wife, Pauline Mary "Polly" Kimbrell (married December 25, 1942, in Marietta, Cobb County, GA). Additionally, he was survived by two daughters, Vickie (Bill) Ball and Cathy DeCarlo; son, John (Stacy) Bloodworth; sister, Agnes Side; brother, Charlies (Dent) Bloodworth; grandchildren, Billy Ball, Melissa and Brant Rackley, Max DeCarlo, J.D. and Clay Bloodworth; and an extended family of relatives and friends.
