Lucile Mildred Thomas was the daughter of Oscar Edwin Thomas (1849-1919) and his wife, Thursa Ruth Stoddard Worth (1854-1906). Both were from Maine -- Oscar was born and raised in Presque Isle and Thursa was from Washburn, Maine. They were married in Kansas City, Missouri, on 22 Oct. 1881.
Lucile's siblings were: Roy Elmer Thomas (1883-1890); Myrta Edna Thomas (1884-1942, married Porter Fenton); Katie Thomas (1893-1893); and Harry Edward Thomas (1889-1970). Harry, Myrta and her husband, Porter, are all buried in the Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Lucile's paternal grandparents were Leonard Jarvis Thomas (1882-1896) and Deborah Shelia Brown, of Presque Isle, Maine.
