Jack B. Ackley who died on August 12, 1967 as the result of a one car accident, was born in White Salmon on June 28, 1935.
He was employed by the Hegewald Timber Co. of Stevenson, Wash.
Surviving family are as follows: 3 daughters, Lila Mae, 7, Nancy Lee, 6, Nadine Y., 5; 1 son, Jack B., 1; 3 brothers, Earl of Hood River, Delbert of Springfield, Oregon, Lee of Stevenson; and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Claude Ackley of Bingen. His wife, Bernice, preceded him in death four months ago in an auto accident.
Services will be held Friday morning, August 18, at 10:30 o'clock in Gardner's Chapel with Rev. Alfred Waln officiating. Interment will be at the White Salmon Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ronald Bennett, Walter (Pete) Chappel, Millard Tresenriter, Melvin Prine, Ray Chambers and Lyman Soloman.
