ELIZABETH L. WILLIAMS
Malad - Mrs. Elizabeth Lusk Williams, 82, died Wednesday in Blackfoot at the home of a son, Keith Williams, of pneumonia and heart disease.
She was born April 29, 1877, at Malad, a daughter of John W. and Martha Tidwell Lusk.
She was married to Jenkin Vaughn Williams, Dec. 14, 1896 in Malad. He died in 1954. He was Oneida County Commissioner and mayor of Malad for several years.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as Relief Society teacher for 30 years and primary president for eight years.
She is survived by six sons, Morgan L., Umatilla, Ore.; Lynn L., Salt Lake City; Wesley L., Montpelier; Glen L. Sacramento, Calif.; Ellis L., Rockland; Keith L., Blackfoot; one daughter, Mrs. Lottie Jones, Logan, Utah; a brother, Alma Lusk, Sugar City; 32 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Malad Third Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Hubert Gleed officiating. Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home Friday evening and Saturday prior to services.
Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery under direction of Benson Funeral Home.
