Smith, Valeria Cravey
SYCAMORE — Valeria Cravey Smith, 87, of Sycamore, died Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Tift Health Care following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at the Inaha Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Inaha Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 tonight at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Mrs. Smith was born in Tift County and was the daughter of the late Johnie Jackson and Leona Foster LeSeur Cravey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryant E. Smith II; one daughter, Neila Lanier; and brothers Gerald Tyson Cravey and Johnie C. Cravey.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Van and Brenda Smith and Ras and Caroline Smith; one daughter and son-in-law, Diann and Jimmy Taylor; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
