FRANK WEISLOCHER
Frank Weislocher, 91, of Marshall, died Tuesday, November 13, at the Fitzgibbon Hospital. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church. Dr. Robert W. Sweeten will officiate. Burial and military graveside services will be at the Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitations will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Campbell-Lewis Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church.
Born Sept. 1, 1893 in Osage County, Mo., he was the son of the late Fritz Weislocher and Amelia Topel Weislocher. On May 29, 1918 he was married to Ethel Blackburn and she survives of the home. Mr. Weislocher was a member of he First Christian Chruch and the Comrades Class. He had lived in Marshall since 1921, moving from Osage County. He was a meat cutter at Langans Grocery for 35 years, retiring in 1969. He was a member of Trilumina Lodge No. 205 A.F.&A. M. He was a veteran of World War 1 and was a active member of the American Legion Post No. 191. He was also a member of the Santa Fe Trail Barracks No. 1633.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Virgil (Mae) Leimkuehler of Marshall; one son, Harold Weislocher of Marshall; four grandchildren, Janice Backes of Malta Bend; Tom Weislocher of Columbia; Betty Ann Sapp of Joplin, Mo.; Barbara Kiser of Marshall and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. William (Ila) Potter, four sisters and four brothers.
