Mrs. Elizabeth Bergman, 73, wife of Peter Bergman and former resident of this city, died this morning at 8:30 o'clock in St. Vincent's hospital in Indianapolis. She had been ill for six years.

The body is at the Hathaway funeral home, but services will not be arranged until word is received from relatives in Montana.

Mrs. Bergman was born 23 Aug 1863, near Burnsville, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Pace. She spent her early life there but later the family moved to this city. She lived here until five years ago.

Besides her husband she leaves seven children, James Bergman of Montana, Noble of Franklin, Miss Florence Bergman and Earl C. Bergman of Indianapolis, Mrs. Hiram McFerron, Mis Kester Shields and Ray Bergman, of this city, a brother, William Pace of Elwood; 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Bergman Rites To Be Held Thursday
Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Elizabeth Bergman, wife of Peter Bergman who died in St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis, will be held at the Hathaway Funeral here on Thursday at 10:30 o'clock, Thursday morning. Burial will be made in Garland Brook cemetery. The casket will be open this evening and until time for the funeral.

A son, James Bergman is expected to arrive here tomorrow from Montana.
