ROAD OFFICIAL DIES IN MALAD
Malad, Idaho - Leonard Jones, 65, road overseer of Malad for 25 years, died today at his home following a lingering illness. He is the son of the late Thomas S. and Rhoda Jones, and was born in Malad Dec. 6, 1892. He was married to the former Clara James, who survives him, together with two daughters: Mrs. Marian (Hannah) Reese of Hunter, Utah, and Mrs. Bob (Shirley) Stack of Perry. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the LDS Second Ward under the direction of the bishopric. Friends may call at the family home tomorrow evening and Wednesday prior to services. Interment will be in the Malad City Cemetery under direction of the Benson Funeral Home.
