Peter W Prince, one of the best known and most respected residents of the village, passed away at his home. Surviving is his wife, one daughter Mrs William Ferst, and two sons, Frank and John. Funeral services at Myrtle Tree Baptist Church Tuesday. Rev Stratton officiating. Interment in Myrtle Tree Cemetery. He was born June 1833 and died April 24, 1910, aged 77 years, 10 months. He was one of six children, two brothers and three sisters. The two brothers are Professor Benjamin F Prince, Captain David Prince and the sister, Mrs Largent. Two sisters preceded him in death, Mrs Mary Snapp and Mrs Elizabeth Wiant. On June 5, 1865, he was married to Miss Mary Browning, to this union were born five children, John, William, Franklin, Benjamin, Minnie.
