Katherine Alderman Sutphin, 77, died Friday in Radford Community Hospital.

She lived at 2413 first St.

She was the widow of Iford E. Sutphin.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Virginia Franklin, Dublin, Mrs. Buelah Mae Wright, Richmond, Miss Geneva Sutphin and Mrs. Phylis Duncan, both of Radford, Mrs. Christine Sutherland, Roanoke, Mrs. Snowa Bell, Salem,
two sons, I. Fred Sutphin, Radford, R. A. ('Bud') Sutphin, Christiansburg;
three sisters, Mrs. Maude Helms, Hollywood, Md., Mrs. Lola Moxey, Willis, Mrs. Laura Hatcher, Floyd;
three brothers, Rush Alderman, Willis, Thurman Alderman, Beaver, W. Va., Emmett Alderman, Radford;
22 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.

The funeral was Sunday with burial in Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin.

Seaver-Sanders Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
