Georgia marriage her first husband, Andrew W. N. Cross. To this union was born a son, Ronald Cross. Their marriage ended in a divorce before 1940. Georgia married her second husband, John Robert Haxton on Nov 24, 1940 in Newkirk, Kay Co., Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Beulah Lillie McInturff, and two brothers, Lafayette Austin Sharum and Vernon Wilson Sharum.
