Wilson Henry King was born in Izard County, Arkansas on 10 January 1919. He was the son of William Henry and Mary Myrtis (McNealy) King.
He met and married Adah Mae Roten in Independence, Arkansas on 18 February 1939. They were later divorced, and had no children.
On 1 March 1946, at Portland, Oregon, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served about 21 years, and was discharged on 31 March 1967.
Then on 23 July 1981 Wilson passed away at the Washington Veterans Home, in Retsil Washington. He is buried in the Home cemetery.
