Juanita L. Clyde, 84, of Seneca Street, transitioned into eternal life on Monday, May 11, 2009 in the peace and love of her home. She was born in Detroit,MI, the daughter of the late Russell and Ella (Williams)
Scott, retired from the former Polyclinic Medical Center, with 35 years of service, a member of The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church and in her leisure, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching T.V. and traveling.
Juanita was the widow of
Augustus Clyde and in addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Harold Edwards, and her granddaughter,
Shelly Lawrence and leaves
to celebrate her life, her daughter and son-in-law, Myra and Herbert Thompson; her daughter-in-law,
Sherry Chester Edwards; her 8 grandchildren, Carla Edwards Bowie, Stacey "Marcie" Geary, Victoria Thompson, Herbert "Tony" Thompson, Tasha Thompson-Stafford,
Carl Chester, Sherri Alton, and Sharee Jackson; her 18 great grands and 8 great-great grands; her special friends, Sharon Brown, Libby Myers and Helen Peterson and a host of other relatives and friends.
Her life will be celebrated Monday, May 18 at 10 a.m.
in the Sanctuary of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 2339 N. 6th St., with viewing at 9 until 10 a.m. and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
