ABILENE — Rita K. Dannebohm, 65, died May 13 at Abilene Memorial Hospital. She was born March 25, 1944, at Great Bend, the daughter of Ray and Hazel Engleman McCoy. She was a graduate of Hudson High School with the Class of 1962. She had made her home in Ellinwood and Hudson. She had been employed as a dispatcher for the Stafford County Sheriff's Department. She moved to Abilene in 2002 and was a cook at Barb's Backyard Café.
Survivors include three sons, Chadd Wells and Jesse Wells, both of Enterprise, and Jimmy Wells of Abilene; a sister, Alice Sharts of West Plains, Mo., and a brother, Grant McCoy of Edmond, Okla.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside inurnment services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday from the Prairiedale Cemetery north of Talmage, with Pastor Derrick Hood officiating.
Funeral arrangements provided by Danner Funeral Home.
