Mrs. Florence Bogart, one of Erwin's oldest citizens, aged 80 years, died at her late home on March 16.
Mrs. Bogart is survived by the following children; Ben F., James C., O.E., Albert, Wythe M. Peyton; (Some names are unreadable) brothers, Prof. E.M. Crotoch of Yankers, NY; sister, Mrs. Will Cash of Boone's Creek.
Mrs. Bogart was born at Boone's Creek but has lived in Erwin most of her life. She was one of the oldest members of the Baptist Church here. Mr. Jeremiah Bogart, her husband, preceded her to the grave 39 years ago. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
