PULASKI - Alice Mae Surratt Largen, 85, of Pulaski, departed this world Friday June 24, 2005. Born in Dinwiddie County January 21, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Hattie Bond Surratt.Surviving are: her husband, George W. Largen, Jr., Pulaski; daughters and sons -in-law: Kathy and Michael Hodge, Barbara and Roy Haley, all of Christiansburg and Bonnie and Danny Taylor, Pulaski; sons and daughter-in-law: Donald and Judy Largen, Elliston, Va. and Jeff Largen of Pulaski; sister, Violet Surratt, Pulaski; 11 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; special nieces: Joyce, Lucinda and Kathleen; a special nephew: Freddie, Roger.Funeral services will be held today June 27 at 2 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Philip Moran officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring cemetery, Pulaski County. Visiting was held Sunday evening from the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
