Floyd Joseph Cole, 68, of 245 110th St. died Wednesday in Pulaski General Hospital. Born in Pulaski June 12, 1898 the was the son of the late Andrew and Lucy Lawson Cole. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Duncan Cole; two daughters, Mrs. R.B. Brown, Newark, DE and Mrs. W.R. Umberger, Lexington, KY, one son, Temple J. Cole, Baltimore; four sisters, Mrs. John Hodge, Mrs. Garnett Taylor and Mrs. Abe Nixon, all of Pulaski and Mr. Frank Windle, Draper; four brothers, James and Robert Cole, both of Culpeper; Caldwell Cole, Youngstown, OH and Oakley Colt. Pulaski; also eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral will be Friday at 2 from First Methodist Church, conducted by Dr. Frank E. Trotter, the Rev. Ronald Ingram, the Rev. P.H. Homer and the Rev. Edgar O'Dell. Burial will be in Thornspring Cemetery. The body will remain at Strickler's Funeral Home until one hour before the service.
