J.M.Snyder, one of the pioneers of Ford county, died Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C.A. Hulpieu, 906 Second Ave. Mr. Snyder came to this county in 1885 and settled on a farm fourteen miles northwest of Dodge. Five years ago he went to Deming, New Mexico, and since then has spent the winters in the milder climate. He has suffered during the last six years from an injury sustained while working with machinery. His wife died last July.
Mr. Snyder was 64 years old, and was born in Missouri.
