" Death of Mrs. Frank Ditzler.
Mrs. Lottie S. Ditzler, wife of Frank Ditzler, of this borough, died at the Lancaster General Hospital on Sunday afternoon, aged 32 years. Death followed an eleven months' illness with heart failure, for the treatment of which ailment she entered the hospital four weeks ago. Mrs. Ditzler was born near Elstonville, Rapho township, and was a daughter of William Ulrich. She was reared by her foster mother, Mrs. Kate George, of Lititz, where she resided for many years. Deceased was baptized in infancy and confirmed June 21, 1902, in the Reformed church at Kissel Hill. In 1908 she transferred her membership to the St. Luke's Reformed church, this borough, and always remained loyal to the church and was an active member till near the time of her death. She was the organist of the church for years and a worker in the various church organizations. On May 2, 1914, she was married to Mr. Ditzler. Besides the husband, a daughter, Margaret, her foster mother, of this place, the father, of Manheim, and these sisters and brothers survive: Mrs. Daniel Dussinger, Mrs. Stewart Litzenberger, Milton and Harvey, all of Manheim. The funeral was held this morning with services at the house and in the St. Luke's Reformed church, followed by interment in the Machpelah cemetery. Rev. George P. Raezer officiated."
