The Weston Independent, Tues. 23 Dec. 1919:
"FARNSWORTH, MRS. MARY, aged 81, wife of Dr. Thomas G. Farnsworth, died at her home at Buckhannon Thursday. They recently celebrated 62 years of marriage. Descendant of former Chief Justice John Marshall. John W. Farnsworth of this city is a son."
