WAYNE HUTCHINS
Wayne Hutchins, 48, 910 Grant St., died unexpectedly at 9:15 p.m. Thursday at his home. He was talking with a friend on the telephone when he collapsed. The friend summoned relatives who entered the home and found his body.
Born Sept 26, 1924, at South Greenfield, he was the son of the later Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Hutchins.
He came to Carthage with his parents in 1937 and had resided here since. He was employed as a clerk at the College Pharmacy and Gray-Krummel Drug Store. He retired in 1968 due to ill health. His father died Sept 26, 1961. His mother Mrs. Hattie Gallager Hutchins died Feb. 18, 1956.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Frona Silvers, whereabouts unknown and a large number of cousins.
Services will be a 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Knell Mortuary. The Rev. A. L. Puckett will officiate and burial will be in Park Cemetery.
