He became a United States citizen on April 13, 1912, in Philadelphia.
He served in the US Army, during World War I, as a doctor, with the rank of 1st. LT.
He and Eva moved to California, to be closer to their two surviving children, William and Murial.
He passed away in Los Angeles on May 1,1951, with his wife by his side.
