a daughter of the late Edgar Herbert Tahaney and Florna Agnes Strawderman Tahaney Swisher. On February 15, 1948 at St. Johns United Methodist Church at Parsons, she was united in marriage to Odford Olin "Buck" Gray, who survives. They had celebrated sixty one years of marriage.
Also surviving are two sons, Patrick Allen Gray and wife Lynda of Parsons, Timothy Lee Gray of Shinnston; daughter in law, Carolyn Myers Gray of Parsons, two step brothers, Dick and Dave Swisher; two step sisters, Peggy Moore and Katie Rohrbaugh; two grandchildren Kelly and Sabrina; and five great grandchildren Sterling, Brailey, Abram, Gavin and Greylyn.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by one son, Gregory Lynn Gray; two step brothers, Bob and Don Swisher; three step sisters, Nina Duke, Betsy Swisher and Harriet Rosier Murphy.
She was a graduate of Parsons High School with the Class of 1946. She was employed at the former Cunningham's Dept. Store and the former H.P. Store in Parsons and she worked for Mary Kay. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the St. Johns United Methodist Women.
