Wilma Charlene (Thompson) Moore, 54, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000 at her home of congestive heart failure.
Funeral services were held in the Havre Assembly of God Church with burial following in Highland Cemetery.
Moore was born Sept. 18, 1946 in Great Falls to Homer and Edna (Gemar) Thompson. She graduated from Brady High School.
She married Ed Moore in 1965. They lived in Cut Bank and divorced in 1974.
Due to her health, Moore retired after 27 years from her dog grooming business, Pet Boutique, in Havre.
In her youth, Moore enjoyed horseback riding, snowmobiling and playing the accordion. She later became adept at carpentry and constantly had a project in progress. Her last wishes of a boat ride and fishing were granted in her final week.
Survivors include her sons, Lonnie and Delroy Moore of Cut Bank; parents, Homer and Edna Thompson of Brady; brother, Marvin Thompson of Brady; sister, Velma Thompson of Great Falls; grandchild, Kimberly Moore, and her mother, Janet Monroe, both of Boise, Idaho.
