He was born in Bloomington to Elmer and Minnie Lierman Reum.
He is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Eddie) Giefer of Cheney, Kansas; five sisters, June Sophie of Bloomington, Alice Codding of Bloomington, Vialee Feild of Pontiac, Mary Ann Milton of Colfax and Caroline Ward, of Michigan; one brother, Orville (JoAnn) Reum of Normal; three granddaughters, Renae Giefer, Rachel (Randy) Dick and Rhonda (Ryan) Curtiss and one great-grandson, Braydon Curtiss.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother J.R. Reum.
